Rentals at the John B. Kelly, Jr. Memorial Boathouse

The John B. Kelly, Jr. Memorial Boathouse is located in Fairmount Park, on Historic Boathouse Row and listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Vesper Boat Club has recently completed a 10-year renovation, with meticulous attention to restoring the house to its original splendor. The memorabilia and artifacts on display narrate the extraordinary history and traditions of Vesper, rowing, and Philadelphia. The boathouse is available for private parties, receptions, weddings and corporate events.

The spacious Reception Room features extraordinary Vesper memorabilia including photos, trophies, plaques and banners of Vesper members and victories spanning more than 100 years.

The Bar room opens to the front deck. With its original fireplace and wet bar, this intimate room has many uses and possibilities.

Front and rear decks overlooking the river and historic Kelly Drive provide additional space during the warmer seasons.

Members are available to speak about Vesper and the rowing tradition, upon request.
